Excellent Performance and Value

This is the fifth LG HDTV I've purchased and I couldn't be happier. The picture quality is great, in a dark or well lit room. The IPS panel is a real treat, as the LB6300 has awesome viewing angles. The motion blur can be all but eliminated if that's what you desire (and I do). And the Smart interface is intuitive. In fact, I am impressed with the contrast between the LB6300's Smart interface/layout and that of the LS5700. I think both approaches are good, but what's nice about the LB6300's Smart TV layout is that because the streaming apps appear at the bottom of the screen, one can continue watching TV without any meaningful impact on the picture before clicking onto the desired streaming service. If you're still weighing your streaming options, this is a nice feature. Finally, Sound Sync is also a very useful feature. I've paired my LB6300 with an LG soundbar and the ability to use the one remote for changing channels and raising/lowering volume on the TV and soundbar simultaneously is really great.
I have only two criticisms of this TV. First while the three HDMI inputs it features are adequate, a fourth for a model in this price range would be appropriate. Second, the wide stand obviously limits placement. A central stand would be much more versatile.
In the grand scheme of things, this is an excellent TV especially for the money!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Huge input lag, poor coloring, auto-dimming is bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this TV from a relative who upgraded to a 60 inch TV. I have the 42 inch model of this TV now. After I mounted it onto the wall, I hooked it up to my gaming computer to see how cool it would be to play on a 42 inch TV rather than my 17inch screen. I was terribly disappointed in what I found. The input lag compared to my other monitor was huge, making gaming not enjoyable. I spent about 20 minutes in the OS settings on my computer trying to get the coloring on the TV to look good, still haven't gotten it to show anywhere close to good (maybe it will look 'good' to people who don't have any feel for what a good screen looks like). What was incredibly annoying, on top of all that, was the auto-brightness feature. It never had just he right brightness for my room, it often changed its brightness, which looks so annoying, and I often found myself wanting to change it manually. I do not recommend this TV.

Love WebOS on this TV its the best smart TV platform on the market. The wireless connection is very fast for my steaming uses. I also like the Smart Share feature which also me to stream movies from my computer.

Excellent TV and integration

This is a great TV. Easy to set up, easy to use. I'd love to see Microsoft One Drive integration for photos and home videos added, but having Netflix, Amazon Prime, You Tube, Hulu etc. all as part of the WebOS makes it a perfect home entertainment unit. It's replaced our media center.
Only minor complaint is that sometimes it's a little slow to respond.
Sound great, image great. Love it.

This is my second LG TV. First one a 3D model. This one is my "man cave" set and has performed exceptionally well. Great picture and surprisingly good sound. The only thing I have a problem with is that it has a feature called Smart Share. Seems to be a great feature with lots of promise but I have yet to figure out how or even if the PC software works and the Android app for Smart Share is just a non-functioning placeholder for the app which is promised to available in "the second half of 2014".
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

I really enjoy my smart TV. I love having the ability to surf the web using either the on-screen keyboard or the remote keyboard that I have connected through the usb input. The only complaint that I have is that I can't play Pandora through this TV. I think the TV can't use adobe flash player which Pandora uses. Other than that I really like the TV. The TV itself is very thin and doesn't take up much room at all on the bookshelf.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings

I like the image, the screen and most of the options.
i got it to get the Sling Joey. I did my research but the LG access store is either down or not working. I only got this TV for this service.

Love the easy access to Netflix and Vudu. Excellent picture quality. Web browser is a little disappointing in that the type is so small. It is a little difficult to type in long emails and passwords with the magic remote.
