The R3000 is a vital tool

I am a photographer based in Denver, and have found the R3000 printer to meet my needs very well for producing art and commercial prints. I use high quality Red River paper, and my prints never fail to impress clients. I have had the printer for about 4 months now, and I intentionally left my first prints out where they would get dusty, exposed to occasional sunlight, and things set on top of them. They havent faded at all. As a testament to the hardiness of these inks, I printed some glossy For Sale signs, and two hours later accidentally allowed 2 inches of scotch tape to stick to the sign. By carefully removing the tape, the sign remained intact; no ink peeled up. The printer is fast. I havent yet used all of its features, but so far this vital tool for my business hasnt let me down.

This is a terrific printer! It is a work-horse, giving hours of great prints and ease of operation. The larger cartridges last longer and the inks are superb! I recommend it to all photo and scrapbooking enthusiasts!

Previously I had an Epson Stylus 2200 and was very pleased with the print quality. The print quality from the R3000 is even better...great quality!

epson R3000

In May 2014 I purchased the R3000 to replace my 2000P. The 2000P served me well for many years, yielding good quality prints, worthy of framing. I have yet to get a decent print from the R3000. I have just put the printer aside for over a year, as the quality of the prints I get from it are dreadful and useless. I have tried to manage the color through the printer, and through Adobe Photoshop with the same results.

GREAT PRINTER

So far this printer is fantastic. Just received it and set it up wirelessly. No problem. Just printed my first 13x19 print and it will be the talk of the town around here for days. It is beautiful. Took a bit of time about 8 minutes but if quality is what your after, a little time doesn't matter.
True Quality is what I got. Thanks Epson.

The R3000 is a grand printer. It feeds the paper well, both thick and thin. It turns out beautiful true color and black and white photo prints of my work. I am very satisfied with it in all those important areas. However, I do find it a bit irritating to have to change constantly from photo black to matte black inks. I print almost daily on both photo and fine art papers, and it would be nice if the printer could just use the proper black ink for the proper paper automatically without going through the big change over.

Giant quality in a smaller package

I can not recommend this printer enough.
Originally, I was intending to purchase one of the larger Pro Image line printers (specifically the 3880). However, my office does not have a lot of space and I've never been a fan of larger sized prints. (I prefer smaller sizes for more intimate viewing.)
Therefore, for me, it didn't make sense to spend the extra money for the larger sized printer capable of producing the larger sized prints. The R3000 turned out to be the perfect solution!
It fits neatly on my desk, but more importantly delivers quality equal to the larger pro printers. A win/win for me!
If you're looking for a printer, but do not want the size, price, or larger print capabilities, this is the option for you.
The R3000 proves you can be smaller and more convenient without sacrificing quality.

As I was researching photo printers, I could not believe that any electronic device could get such universally rave reviews. Let's just say I was skeptical. Well, I have to concure. Installation, was quick and easy. The wireless hookup to my high speed router was simple and has proven to be a great convenience. As for the prints, yes the prints. I tend to be a bit finicky about print quality. But, by the harshest standard, the prints from the R3000 are fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! Even if you only use the medium quality mode you will be surprised and pleased. And I am making them in my apartment. Wonderful. No going to and fro to the lab............
