Wireless connectivity was not smooth. Initial print on mattee paper is much too dark. So, very much in the learning curve. More as we progres.

First Epson, R3000

This is what I would call, my first real photo printer. I am really enjoying this printer. Setup was a snap and test prints were spectacular. Now if I can match my photography to the quality of this printer I will be in business.
To date I have only printed color and only a few test images. But instructions are clear, printing is fast and the output is sharp.

Good Except

Very good instalation procedures, however I had to open the ink cartridges with a scissors as it is impossible to tear them open where the notch is.

Great printer, best photo quality yet, but has problems printing envelopes. It prompts you to put the CD tray in which does not work.

Not Yet Ready for a Prime Time Review.

You probably do not want a review from me until I can get a decent print out of this machine. Too bad it just doesn't print well right from the start. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt because I'm hoping it is so vastly capable that I just haven't chosen the right options yet. I miss my old Epson printer and very much wish the the Print Settings window looked the same on an iMac as it did in Windows XP. At least then I had the power to control saturation and color balance. This machine only lets me choose paper type. VERY FRUSTRATED and using a lot of ink on poor prints!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recently bought two; Yes, 2 R3000 Printers... One for myself & one for my younger Brother... He's actually the the one making a living as a Professional Photographer; and he absolutely "LOVES EPSON PRINTERS!"
This is my first. So far, so 'Absolutely Wonderful!'
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently upgraded to the R3000 from my old R1800, what a great decision.
The R3000 was very easy to set up and have printing in just a few minutes. The wireless connection was simple and works flawlessly.
I have finished a sample run of prints, both from Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS6 and I must say they came out far better than expected for the first try. A couple of easy tweaks to my print file and they now match perfectly. Vibrant colors that closely matched the image my Eizo monitor.
Fast printing, large ink supply, wireless, great color.
I am very pleased
