two printers none work

Im not sure whether I will finally get one that works but I am going to call to return my second unit. I hope they get it right this time.

R3000 still not sure

Its been a few days now. And I have had a couple good prints but far more failures. I'll admit I have no experience with photo printing. I thought you clicked print and with the right printer it looks amazing. I'm no! Next I thought it was my monitor not calibrated. Again no. The ICC profiles are butting in a color shift choosing adobe handles color or printer handles color shows a clear difference in the prints with neither being exactly what I wantted. Every thing I read says this is the right printer. So it's got to be me. I ordered an Epson printing book from chapters let's hope that clears a few things up. One last comment when paper is set proper, and the printer handles the color the image is on the dark side.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was somewhat difficult to follow the setup instructions.
I still don't know when to use which BLACK ink.
If there were pictures along with verbal instructions on which Black ink to use, then I would be in a betteer position to evaluate the printer. There are too many choices to simply print out a picture.

The Stylus Photo R3000 is perfect for a serious amature photographer. It is also very kind to the technically challenged when setting it up, especially attaching to a network.
The first thing I noticed was that it has few moving parts that need to be attached. The only items were the ink cartridges. Simplicity is good.
The first image I printed was beautiful,detail esquisite, color clear and crisp.
This replaces a 2880R and the difference is extreme in favor of the R3000.

Drinks ink. Difficult to load sheet paper. Supposed to automatically switch between black inks-----does not!

I love wireless printing!!! Yet another thing that doesn't need to be wired to my computer taking up a usb port! I also like the scan and fax features. Got it all and it's so convieint.

R3000 performance

Just purchased it and it is easy to install can not use the wireless connection because have an incompatible router because it is older. The print quality is so much detailed than our r1800 that just broke. The $300 rebate was a great incenctive.
I would recommend this to a friend!
