Awesome!

I don't really have too much experience with pro printers, but this one is awesome! I have been printing my pro photography work at adorama for years, and quite frankly this will replace that process. Right out of the box it took about 10 minutes to setup and print. I printed an 8x10 and was floored by the quality. Perfect tones and colors. Great highlights and shadows. My next printer will be a true Epson large format printer!

Amazing Colors and Very Easy to Install

We have always been Epson printer fans. We like to print our photos at home, create photo books and brochures, and have had much success with our prior Epson model. The R3000 is absolutely fabulous and it was very easy for us to install (and we are certainly not techies). I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone looking for the highest quality color photos and other color media.

A LOT of Printer

Just unboxed and set it up.. and I can tell you it is a very nice piece of printing equipment. Huge [*huge*] step up from our Epson R800 both in size and quality. The amount of printer your money buys once you cross over to the near professional side is nothing shy of amazing. Said differently, it appears that spending twice the money gets you more than twice the printer. The couple of 8-1/2x11" prints I've made so far are simply stunning. The print color is impressive and accurate.
Well-crafted, it is an impressive printer. The drivers loaded quickly to my Win7 machine; it prints quickly and quiety; included documentation is very good; next I'll "cut" the USB cord and give the wireless capability a try.
One nit, the tiny little display is okay for seeing ink levels or changing to/from matte black ink; yet on a printer this large, it seems a larger display would be appropriate - regardless, it works just fine.

Wow I'm very impressed

This is my first Epson printer, I used plenty in school well working on my photography certificate I had no desire to buy one.
Well, after a few photo job and creative photo work there was a need to put control of the color back in my hands and out of others (print shops).
I thought I'd start out small before jumping to the pro ranks (4880 or 4900 series). This printer is more than I expected so I ran it through its paces printing out 5x7 in, 8x10 in and a 13x19 in matte print all in one day I'm so impressed with this printer.
I had to stop before I turned my house into print studio. I love this printer did mention how impressed I'm with it.

My last printer the Epson R2400 cut some off of borderless prints. The R3000 gives me full prints. I also like to be able to print CD and DVD's.

Nine generus sized ink cartridges permit efficient printing sessions with Adobe RGB colors and large prints up to 13 inches by 19 inches. I plan to try printing on rolls of paper 13 inches wide avaliable from Epson. Printer comes with attachement for roll-paper. Desired supplies, except for Epson papers are not stocked at my local photo supply stores. I order my my ink cartridge direct from Epson Store.

R3000

I was pleased with how effective and rapid the setup was for this wireless printer. I am very pleased with the quality of the prints. On at least two times, something happened which caused the printer to completely lock up. I don't know exactly what happened. It may have started with not putting in the paper correctly so that it fed. However, no button on the printer produced any reaction. I could only overcome the situation by unplugging the power cable, waiting until the printer turned completly off, and plugging it in again.

Replaces 2200 which was a very good printer. This R3000 is faster and with the screen easier to manage. The images are a bit better.
