just pick up the printer, setup great, I have it setup network and usb. House network with wireless, the printer is close to my computer so I used the usb hookup, easy. The other computer is on the network had to install drivers from the CD, easy working great. The two laptops use the wireless conncection, had to use the CD widows could not find drivers, no problem working great. The pictures are excellent, printer is great. price is high but so is quality of the picture and printer. It is new now hopefully it will last for along tme, that will tale the whole story.

New Stylus R3000 printer

Just replaced my 1280 printer - the difference with the R3000 is phenominal! Bright, clear colour. Printer is quiet and fast! Look forward to exploring all facets of this new machine!

Exceptional Printer

Simple to set up and easy to get right to printing high quality photographs in single sheets or rolls up to 13 inches. Very quiet. Elegant looking. The larger (than previous 13" printers) ink cartridge capacity is going to be a major benefit.

Spectacular B&W!

Wish I had upgraded sooner. I really love the results, especially B&W. Allows me to produce gallery-ready prints in my own studio with complete control over the results.

Excellent Printer

As soon as I received this printer, I hooked it up and created some custom profiles. Next, I printed 5 different 8x10. With my past printer, I would have made 3-4 copies of each to get it right. With this one, the first print was exactly what I wanted to see. The tone are amazing. Overall, I am exceptionally please with this purchase. I would buy it again given the need.

R3000 Great Printer

I've only had the R3000 for a month but have used it daily to print DVD and CD labels in my videography business. Does a wonderful job, faster and better quality then my old Epson 2200 which I thought couldn't be beat. The ink is a lot more costly but it seems to last a lot longer (2X+) than the ink for my 2200.

Great photo printer

Relatively easy to download the software and installed on my Mac OS X 10.7.4 computers. The Wi-Fi connectivity was also installed. I upgraded from an old Epson Stylus 2200 because the paper profiles are not available for new software (reason for the 4 stars), and also for the new inks available for the R3000. The downloaded software included the profiles for most papers I use. The Epson document "Color Management Guide" had me printing great prints almost as good as my calibrated Adobe RGB (1998) display in a few minutes after printer installation. As I use the printer further I may find other problems, but so far so good. The ability to print CD/DVDs, and automatic switch of Photo Black to Matte Black, is icing on the cake.
