Super printer

This R3000 is a replacement for an old Epson Stylus Photo 1400 I have had for 7 years without a problem. I wanted the higher quality ink and the ability to use roll paper as I print Panoramas.
Super quiet printed several panoramas and all turned out perfect.

Epson R3000

This printer produces great work. It is my second R3000 because my first only lasted 3 years. The only other problem is it uses a lot of ink and the ink is not cheap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Provides outstanding quality prints that rival professional photo labs. I have used several other brands of printers and this is by far the best of the bunch. The bigger ink capacity is a real plus to avoid constant replacing of cartridges.

The prints are beautiful. It also prints wonderful grey tones. And the printer is relatively easy to work. But the printer doesn't always want to "talk" with my laptop despite the fact that they are basically sitting side by side. Also, I often get an error message telling me I don't have the right paper loaded despite the fact that I do have the right paper loaded. If I cancel that printing and select to print again, the printer usually responds.

Great photo ink jet. easy to use. does DVD's nice too. ink is expensive but lasts a long time.

this is a great if thirsty printer, I usually print 11x17 to 13x19, not much small stuff. the quality is exceptional, sped good, set up easy. I retired 10 years ago so I forgot how to calibrate this with my monitor, all I need is to remember how to do that and then my colorblindness will again be more nuisance than crisis.
I would recommend this to a friend!

In a nutshell, one superb photo printer. Love the CD/DVD printing feature as well. The quality of the photo prints is unsurpassed. I plan to print and submit my images to galleries; it's that's good.

The printer setup was easy and work on first try.
Only printed 2 prints so far. Both matched my
Photoshop CS6 ICC profiles on my screen.
