Almost Perfection

This printer is utterly awesome. It's versatile with being able to do roll stock as well as heavier materials. That being said, the only reason I wouldn't give this printer a 5 star rating is that when using the fine art loading tray, I always get a smudge or a scuff mark on the leading edge about 1 inch into the print. Because of the this, I never use this print method and always stick to the standard feed tray. This is a big limitation and should be considered. Print quality is simply incredible and ink consumption is good, just don't switch between matte black and photo black too often.

Lovely prints

I kind of wish I had waited and bought the 3880, but I am very happy with this printer. Prints are beautiful! Also the higher capacity ink cartridges are a huge bonus, ink goes so fast as it is. Still waiting for the rebate to show up, but glad I bought the printer.

I just bought this printer and have only printed a few things on it . It was easy to set up and the quality and color of the prints is very good. I mainly bought this printer for canvas printing and printing on fine art papers and from what I have produced so far I have picked the right machine for my needs. The color is stunning and the prints are crisp and clean.

SIMPLY STUNNING!

My name is Victor and I am a fine art illustrator. I use my Epson R3000 for my fine art reproductions and all I can is that the printer is FLAWLESS. Its the baddest (as in good) printer I have ever owned. I have been buying Epson products for 4 years now and they have the best products and service ever.

Using the R3000

I've used the Epson Stylus Photo R3000 for about a year now and am very happy with it. The larger ink cartridges are a big plus, even though they cost more at purchase. Print quality is excellent on a variety of papers. One niggle I experienced is difficulty loading the CD/DVD tray. After consultation with Epson I realized that the leading edge of the tray has to slide into a very narrow slot inside the printer and it was bumping into the edge of the slot. Opening the top of the printer and watching where the tray goes eliminates the problem. Overall this is the best 13"-wide printer I've used.

Easy setup. Easy to operate. Great print and color quality. Difficult to match monitor and printer colors, contrast, and saturation.

Epson Stylus Photo R3000

Great printer. My pictures are coming out sharp with very good colors. The ink is in large enough containers that I don't need to buy new cartridges more than once every few months. The only problem I'm having is that the driver software seems a little difficult to navigate. For example, I had the printer set up to do duplex printing (both sides of the paper). I had to remove this setting temporarily and now I can't get it back and I can't find instructions to help me do this. The user interface is not intuitive and the documentation is sadly lacking.

New Epson Photo R3000 printer - wonderful

My new Epson R3000 is replacing an Epson 2200 which 'gave up' after a decade of use. The new model has a modest learning curve, and makes glorious prints.
