Excelent Quality

The quality of prints we are getting with this printer is amazing. Our clients have been satisfied thus far with their prints. The ink levels seem to drop off fast but reading other review they say it is normal for the first run of ink cartridges to go fast and should slow down after all heads have been able to fill. I have printed 24 sheets (8 1/2 X 11) on luster paper and my photo black, light black and light magenta are less than half full now, so I am hoping that they are right and it will get better.
Now shipping needs some work since I paid for the 2 day shipping and it took a extra day which may not sound like much but when you have clients waiting for pictures it can cost. Now epson's customer Service was helpful in refunding my shipping cost since it exceded the time they said it would.
Over all I have had a good experience with epson and would recommend this product and their services.

I've owned the, Epson 2400, 2880 and now the 3000. I enjoy the ease of not having to remove the black and matte cartridges to change from glossy to matte.

Great performing printer as long as you keep it calibrated at least one a month. Colors great. Doesn't need much cleaning.

I love the quality of the pictures I can print with the R3000. Whether it is black and white or color picture, it does an excellent job with reproducing the nuances of color from my original files. It is easy to set up and connected wirelessly with my computer without any problems. I consider this to be an excellent investment that enhances my ability to produce great prints.

LOVE MY STYLUS PHOTO R2200, BUT THE R3000 IS IN A CLASS BY ITSELF. AFTER RUNNING COLORMUNKI AND PRINTING A PHOTO AND COMPARING THE SAME PHOTO FROM THE 2200, SO MUCH MORE DETAIL. ANYBODY WANT A R2200

Love and hate

Image printed with image on screen needs to be refined. Have only printed with Photo Black and with the ink loss from changing from Pk to Mk, photos will have to be lined up so that the changing back and forth will be at a minimum.
Overall printer is fine
With the MK to PK ink loss on the "pro" type printers. I think Epson is carrying the razor/razor blades analogy bit too far.

A very good machine

I replaced an older Pro 4000 with this R3000. Obviously the more expensive models can do more, but this one should meet most of my needs, just not be able to make a few of the larger prints. I found mine boxed well and very easy to setup. Once set up, I printed one of the test images, then one of my own for which I had made a previous print on another machine. On the third print I had everything spot on, and it's been that way ever since. This seems to be a solid machine as well as one which will make me, and my clients, happy for some time to come. Surprisingly, at least from what I am used to, the printer seemed to use little ink in the priming process leaving me with a almost full set of ink cartridges. What a pleasant surprise. So far, so good. Another quality machine from Epson, with a wonderful ink set.

The Epson Stylus Photo R3000 is as good as it gets. I really enjoy the connectivity via my home wireless network. The paper handling is great. The color and quality are great. I have only one complaint, the manual and instructions are terrible.I read the warning not to use the software CD on my Mac and finally the only way I got it to load the software was from the CD. There were no illustrations of the menus or how to get to them. Come on, make a manual that works.
