Great features but could be a little smaller and lighter

Some of the pictures I took from my vacation has been lost or cannot be read by the camera
The reason as I have been told was that the sd card had a problem otherwise the camera has great feateatures some of which I have not use yet.i'm still learning the camera..I do like the selfie feature.it would be nice if it connect to social media like Facebook so as to upload direct from camera.

I was looking for a smaller camera when I did not want to be weighted down with a traditional DSLR. I still wanted a fast and versatile camera. I think that this is one of the better mirror less cameras on the market especially for the money. So far, I am very happy with it performance, especially the fast shutter speed.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: no through lens viewer
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great camera with good amount of features and great quality

This camera provides great quality on a small package. It has lots of features and the user interface is easy to use. This is a good starter camera or a step up from a cell phone or point and shoot. This camera can replace many low end DSLR and compete well with most mirror less cameras. It is basically a smaller version of its bigger brother of the NX1 with a different processor. I wish it was dust and water resistant like the nx1. Over all very satisfied works well with different kinds of situations and lighting. Can't wait to get more lenses!

Cons: no water or dust resistant like ithe nx1

Amazing performance from a small body camera. very good picture quality and portability. I had a NX3000 and this camera is a great step up.

Hello, I Bought these Samsung NX 500 Camera in Bandung - Indonesia, i'm enjoy with samsung camera performance, light and small body makes me wondering, what a serious R & D of Samsung they've had. After all, this is brilliant Camera, It Suit's me well. all the Feature similiar with Pro DSLR System, please add more Firmware Updates and Lens. the cheap lens please. hehehe THX Samsung!

Good point and shoot camera, but there's one issue

The camera is good overall for what I need it for...but after several months of using it, the camera began to freeze and one of the buttons (photo preview button) does not work. Every time I snap a photo the camera would freeze. This issue began at the worst time, at a friends wedding.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: camera freezes, poor lighting display
