Unbeatable features for an unbeatable price!

This camera has so many amazing features its almost overwhelming! I do makeup photography and it's almost freaky how the camera can pick up details of the skin when zoomed in. The camera also captures colors greatly when I record makeup tutorials and doesn't make me washed out. I haven't tried the 4k feature yet but the 1080p video quality is just stunning. I think I'm going to be a Samsung camera user for life!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color

Great camera

Love the features. Touch screen is very responsive, recording in 4K is extremely crisp, love how small the camera is, design is great. Only downside is you can't flip up the screen with the flash on but it's not that big of a deal. Pictures come out great. Overall, I love this camera. I bring it with me everywhere!

Beautiful camera body with excellent photos and video

I bought this camera to jumpstart my photo hobby and I love it: for a camera with interchangeable lenses, it's compact, beautiful (love the color of the body), lightweight and offers high-quality photos (and video). The only hiccup is that I need to update some features on my computer now to work with the 4k videos but that is not such a painful hiccup.
One of my favorite features: it after a quick setup, it easily (and then instantly) transfers photos to my android phone! This is what I've been looking for in a camera.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, beautiful

After watching and reading so many reviews I finally decided that this camera was the one for me! I fell in love with the design and everything about it. It has awesome quality and its touch screen which makes it even better. I enjoy taking pictures with it because they come out so sharp and perfect. I even got my sister to buy one herself. I do admit that the only down side about this camera is that you have to conver the videos to be able to watch them on your computer but it's totally worth it!

This camera takes GREAT pictures

Shortly after buying this camera I sold my Nikon D5300 and my Leica V-lux because I was not using either of them any more. Easily the best camera in my bag. Thank you Samsung. PS I bought a used Samsung NX 100 as a back-up, and it is a very good camera for the money. GO SAMSUNG

This Samsung NX500 has great features and gives you great pictures if NOT setting at smart-night mode.

I like taking pictures of city lights from hand without a tripod using my Samsung NX 50-200mm ED OIS III lens attached on my Samsung NX 500. Pictures came out beautiful if I set it at Auto Mode. But when I set it at Smart Mode, then chose Night Mode to see if the picture turned out any clearer than if set at Auto Mode, the camera seem like stuck for 2-3 seconds shutter speed, and back screen of the camera suddenly turned black ( just like it turned off by itself for 2-3 second then turned on again!?) but the green light AF lamp was still on. I tried 3-5 times again after that but it still happened the same thing. Pictures came out blurry and fuzzy. Why is it happening like that? This must be a trouble with Smart Mode /Night Mode on Samsung Nx 500 camera. Did it happen to anybody else?
Beside that, everything else seem like working properly so far because I haven't tested out all of its functions yet. Hopefully Samsung will release new firmware soon to fix that Smart Mode/Night Mode problem on Samsung camera, NX 500.
I would recommend it to my friends because of others Pros. and price..... And especially, it'd be perfect if Samsung fixes that problem soon!.
