[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have "sold" at least 3 other symphony's to other people since purchasing ours! Highly recommend this machine. In the past i would scrub my kitchen floors on hands and knees. It would take 2 days. This took me 30 minutes and our floors are amazingly clean!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was excited about the Symphony and researched it prior to buying it about two months ago. It does not work as well as I hoped. I have uneven stone tile in my kitchen and hard wood around the rest of my house. The vacuum actually works well, but not the steamer. It doesn't even budge dried on food or anything like that and has a hard time getting the stone fully clean. It leaves streaks all over the hard wood floors making them look less clean than when you started. Recently, the steamer has completely stopped working all together and this thing is only two months old. Save your money and keep your mop!

It's nice to know how well you like the suction with your Symphony! We can help with the streaking and the sticky messes that you're trying to clean up. Letting the machine linger too long can leave a milky/streak on waxed floors or it could be from using waxed based products. The streaks can be removed by taking a dry cloth with vinegar and water. Just wipe the streaks out. This will reduce over time with the steam pulling the residues from your flooring. Sticky messes should come right up with your Symphony. Let's make sure it's spraying properly by checking that the filters are clean and are properly installed. There shouldn't be any gaps. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had professional house cleaning in the past. But they would just use a wet mop. A week after I got my new puppy I decided to get this steam mop. I have only used it a few rines, but this picked up dirt off the floor I didn't think I had thanks to the cleaning people. After just steaming the kitchen the mop head was black. Disgusting just thinking about how much dirt the cleaners left behind. I don't have cleaners anymore, but I have a great new steam mop/vacuum. And once my puppy starts shedding I'm sure it will be an even better investment. Even of it does next year it's still cheaper then hiring inadequate house cleaners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Symphony vacuum and steam mop. So much so that I actually liked my vacuuming chore. Normally hate it. I loved that it does both things at once. I love that the pads are washable for reuse. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver and works. It definitely lived up to the hype.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought my sister and myself each a bissell symphony, and we are both very happy with them. We are in our late 60's and have tile floors throughout our houses. We couldn't believe what a great job the symphony did vacuuming and cleaning our floors, with very little effort on our parts. The older I get, the harder it is to keep my house clean to my satisfaction. This has made one of the most back straining jobs I had a lot easier, and does a better job than vacuuming and separately mopping the floor with my Cuban mop. I will never be without this again. Not sure how long the symphony will last, but if it ever quits, I will happily buy another one.

I am in love with this steamer vac!! I will list the pros and cons but will start with the cons because I believe in ending on a positive note! CONS: Small vacuum tank (but plenty big enough for my needs) Not for use on carpets thicker than a rug. If the rug has any shag, I do not recommend it. PROS: It uses steam to clean, leaving less chance of a cleaner ruining a surface. That can be straight distilled water OR a scented water that Bissell sells. Also can use a scent disc that fits into a mesh pocket under steam pad. Long cord so you don't have to unplug it every few feet!! The wetness from the steam dries very quickly so no need to stress someone walking on your clean floor. VERY LIGHTWEIGHT! Huge importance since I have to lug it around. Vacuum part does not roll over cord, it pushes it. No more panicking about hitting the cord BUT it does roll easily over tack strips or whatever you have that divides your rooms. This is a stellar piece of machinery that I highly recommend! You can get rid of those nasty mops. The only thing that would make it more perfect is if it had a grout cleaner. I was told there is one with a detachable grout cleaner. However I have a wonderful grout cleaner that I also highly recommend called Grout Sensation. Cleans on contact with little to no scrubbing. So far, this machine gets ☆☆☆☆☆

I had a steamer from another manufacturer before buying the Bissell Symphony. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of dirt the steam function cleaned from our laminate flooring, despite steam cleaning the floor previously each week. I have only been using tap water. I also bought 4 extra mop head covers so I can use the steam function all week. I love being able to sweep and mop at the same time. I've only used the "Hi" steam button. I have had no streaking on our floors. The only issue I have had so far is the tendency for the vacuum dirt container to easily unlock and spew its contents. I've had it happen 3 times already. I am now being more careful to make sure the container is firmly locked in place before beginning to sweep and steam. Not sure if any others have had a similar problem?
