I've had to replace mine 3 times because it stopped creating steam. It just failed again, not creating sufficient steam and leaking. I could send this one back too and get a replacement, but we're tired of going through the same process every year. Time to look at another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the Bissell Symphony. I used it in the bathroom for the first time and it was so nice and easy to switch from using the vacuum to the steam mop. The steam mop did a great job on getting the dirty marks off of my floor. It's so clean--it looks like it's almost new again. The vacuum has a lot of power and did my carpeting upstairs in my bedroom with no problem. I'm so glad that I purchased this product. I can't wait to use it again.

I noticed when I opened the package, it had been used. There was left over water in the reservoir. Since it was for my gym in the garage, I still went ahead and tried it out. It worked fine. I don't think it's worth the $$ Also disappointed it was a used model.
