semi disappointment

Just recently bought the Bissell Symphony and have to say that I am overwhelmingly disappointed. A few things come immediately to mind 1) extremely hard to push in steam mode 2) leaves streaks on linoleum and doing as you suggested, not to linger on any one spot, it still left streaks 3) no matter how many times I went over a heavily soiled spot the machine did not pick it up even on high and lastly this machine was not meant to clean bathroom tile. On the easy to get to area it does fine but around the side and the back of the toilet not happening. For the price that I paid for this unit, I was expecting it to perform miracles but that did not happen. The one thing that worked well was the vacuum. Would not recommend this for heavy cleaning.

We appreciate your feedback. If you are still getting streaks this could be from prior formulas that have been used. To remove the streaks just take a dry white cloth and vinegar and wipe the streaks out.

I bought the symphony all in one for my wife for Christmas.She has not used it yet but I have used it at least six times already.This is absolutely the best vacuum/steam mop out there.it is easy to set up,easy to fill with water,very easy to use on laminate,hardwood and vinyl flooring.every thing is just so clean now after using this product.I wish that I had gotten this sooner. the vacuum on the all in one is more powerful than my dyson animal vacuum .this picks up debri even close to walls.The only thing I regret is not ordering on line to receive the steambot and two free pads.I bought this one at a dept. store and had to pay extra for the pads.in a nut shell,I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to save time and have an absolutely clean home.

Excellent 2-in-1 floor appliance

I bought this item because of my downstairs area. I need something to clean tile floors and vacuum. This really vacuums very well. The steam feature does a great job of lifting dirt. I just think the pads should be a little thicker as my tile is has a distress look. Not sure how the pads clean the tile down deep yet. I really like this better than my older Shark which flopped all over the place. It is much easier to handle and maneuver. Like the easy to fill water tank and the canister fro removing debris. Stores nicely. So far this was bargain by getting two appliances in one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My friend was bragging about the Xmas present her hubby gave her , a Symphony! She said it was amazing! I treated myself to one for Valentines day! Wow! I just kept saying WOW !! I thought I had clean floors! Well, now I do! It lifted old grime from 25 year old hardwood without stripping or chemicals! So happy I bought this product! When I told my work mates how well it performed that all want one now!!

I have dark wood floors and a dog that leaves a trail of water spots all over the kitchen floor. I always put off cleaning the floors as long as I could. After reading all the reviews about Bissell I decided to give it a try -- I can't say enough about how great this cleaner is. I don't understand how it can dry vacuum dust, debris and dog hair at the same time it can steam mop but it can -- unbelievable! It is so simple to use, lightweight. My only complaint is the cord -- I'm always tripping over it to get it out of my way -- but that's a user problem. I wish I had discovered the Bissell much sooner.
