I have several dogs and cats who all live inside and I like and appreciate being able to switch easily from vacuum to steam cleaner. I like being able to easily and quickly set up the item to clean. Do wish steam option had more power and was warmer. Thank you.

This machine is perfect! I have hard floors though out my home and sweeping doesn't do the job for me. I ordered it online from Bissell and the shipping process and delivery was fast. I vacuum and steam every weekend and sometime during the week. I only used distilled water and I have fell in love with the scented demineralized water (Eucalyptus is my favorite and I also like the spring breeze) This is a must buy and a quicker way to clean. It's easy to use and easy to care for. I would recommend his product to anyone.

Trigger handle malfunctions

I loveD this unit but shortly after the warranty expired, the trigger handle stopped working. It is not fixable per Bissell. I took it apart and the button works to create steam, but the trigger button no longer reaches the button to create steam :/
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my symphony steamer/vacuum. It works really good as I have three dogs, cat and a African Ring Neck Parakeet so I have hair and feathers! This vacuum cleans up really good, vacuums by bathroom rugs and kitchen rugs and vacuums and steams my kitchen floor which is white tile. I would recommend this product to anyone. It cuts cleaning time in half! Only drawback is I have to clean the little rollers in front because they get clogged with dog hair more often or it makes it hard to push.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool primarily because I can't have my usual cleaning team in my house during the C19 pandemic. I have a Golden Retriever and two teenagers, none of whom care about how dirty they make the floors. So far, the Symphony is great on tile floors and very good (if I'm careful) on wood floors. My wood floors are old and the finish isn't great, so I do have to be careful not to let the steam mop rest too long in one place. I especially love the combo vacuum/steam clean function - what a time saver. I really like that the floors seem to get quite clean with steam alone, no soaps needed. It's actually fun to clean the floors!

I have to say this is one of the most well thought out and engineered products I've seen and used in a long while. When I first heard about the Bissell Symphony combination vacuum and steam mop I just couldn't imagine how vacuum and steam could work together. Well it works beautifully and the dirt and debris that gets vacuumed up shakes out dry when you go to dump its easy to remove and replace dirt cup. The steam cleaner itself with 2 levels of steam control does a beautiful streak free job on every type of floor I use it on. I have vinyl, ceramic tile, and hardwood and all come out clean and residue free after using the Symphony. As one reviewer said this machine is so well designed it even stands upright on its own without falling over. The pad and holder are simple to remove and replace and the water fill couldn't be easier. The Symphony is made of high quality materials and very durable. There is no struggling in any way to use this machine as it is so simple to operate and is pretty much care free.

This Bissell Symphony is great. I just purchased it, used it only once and noticed that my floors looked much nicer than before using it. My hardwood floor looked beautiful! This steam mop was easy to use and light weight and the fact that it vacuums and steams at the same time is really time saving. I would recommend this to anyone to buy, and have already.
