We love this product, as long as it works

We got one of these units for Christmas 2016. After regular cleanings after every other or third use the steam function has decided to stop working. With a pet and a newborn the steam function is what drew is to Bissell. 6 months and done. Dissatisfied for sure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a yard that holds water & mud. Also I have 2 120 lb. Golden Retrievers and a doggie door. They come in out of the yard with water & mud. So there are mud tracks all over the house. The Symphony does fairly well. The re-usable pads get dirty in no time, the disposable gets dirty too. But it is whole lot better then using a broom & a Swiffer or a mop.

I won't buy another until they fix the steam trigger

I love this product, HOWEVER, just before my warranty ended, the steam trigger in the handle stopped working. Bissell honored their warranty and sent another. This morning, the steam trigger in the new machine stopped working. Love it for quick cleanup. I have faux wood look tile in my kitchen, half bath, dining room, hallway, and mud room. It made cleaning all hat floor quick and easy. So sad they haven't fixed the problem with the steam trigger in the handle. Would buy another in a minute if they would fix this design flaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got this product, it came very badly shipped. The box was crushed with a big hole in it. I carefully opened it and everything was there. I have used it several times and love it. It's a little heavy to carry it but I'm ok with that because it does a wonderful job. We have senior dogs that have accidents and it's nice to vacuum and steam at the same time!! I originally bought it for our camper but I don't think it will make it to the camper lol!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have had a Bissell steam mop for years and decided to upgrade to the Symphony to take advantage of the vacuum and steam capability. It is great! We have tile floors in 3 bathrooms, the laundry room, and kitchen, and with having to first sweep or vacuum each area and then steam clean really took some time. The Symphony saves so much time. It's easy to use, cleans like a dream. Definitely a purchase I'm glad I made.

Suction doesn't work well

the product is good as far as steaming goes, the vacuum part works very poorly. I had to purchase another vacuum cleaner to be able to properly vacuum carpets. The suction does work well on non carpeted floors. Don't feel it was worth the $. Disappointed that I had to buy an additional vacuum.

We appreciate your review. It's nice to hear you like how your floors look after steaming with the BISSELL Symphony. You should have good suction with your machine. Let's take a look at a few tips. Make sure the Vac light is on. The filters should be clean for good airflow. Also, make sure the filter is placed correct and the dirt cup is locked in place. There shouldn't be any gaps. Two machines purchased, two failures

I purchased my first machine and used it weekly for a couple of months. Then it stopped holding water and started dumping everywhere. I bought another one. Now, less than four months later, same thing. Water dumping everywhere. I'm defeated. At nearly $200 each, it was an expensive lesson. Very disappointed. We work hard for our money and I really need a product that will not break after a couple of months. The reason I bought a second one is because when it is working properly, it is a nice machine and gives a good clean.
