I have all tile floors and this product eliminates the need to vacuum first. You have to go slow so the dog hair doesn't get wet from the steam portion, but works well. Once the dog hair gets wet it is hard to pick up.

This product is just what I was looking for. I have ceramic tile and wood floors and cleaning them has always been a 2 step process. I was starting to get frustrated with my upright vacuum cleaner when using the wand to vacuum the floors. It tipped over constantly. I was getting ready to start the research process for getting a canister or some other option. When I saw the Symphony it was perfect because it not only vacuumed my floors but steam cleaned them too. This is a great invention!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't really had a chance to give it a good workout. I bought it for use at the cottage to save time. (vacuum and steam clean at the same time). I just used it briefly to make sure it worked. Actually I had to call Bissell because I couldn't get the steam to work. The gentleman at the other end helped me get it working. For the little I used it, it seems to be fine. I will give it a good trial this weekend. My only disappointment is that it only works as a hard surface cleaner so I still need another vacuum to do the area rugs etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the product following the arrival an active dog that was tracking dirt everywhere. Couldn't keep up cleaning the floors on my knees. Although the Symphony wasn't recommended for unsealed hardwood floors, we decided to give it a try. After 2 months of use we are very satisfied. We have successfully used the Symphony on tiles, weaved carpet and oiled hardwood floors. There doesn't seem to be enough steam to affect the wood grain in the floor. We would of loved to try the Crosswave to compare, but how ?
