I have had my Symphony for 3.5 years and it still works great. I use it primarily to clean my wood floors and secondarily for baths as they are rather small. As a disclaimer I do prevac because I do not want any chance of a piece of debris getting under my Symphony and me dragging so said debris across my wood floors. I use Lo for wood and Hi for tile unless I have a stubborn spot on the wood floor. I have two sets of pads and use a full tank per pad. I also have two sets of filters so my Symphony is always ready to go. I do not zoom across my floors so I can clean with pretty much two passes and if you happen upon a spot simply set the center most point of the pad over the spot and the steam lifts it away. I always vac and steam at same time so floors really do look amazing in half the time of any other cleaning options. If it breaks, I would simply buy another because it paid for itself the first time I steam cleaned 3600SQ of wood flooring before I sold my last house. Stanley Steamer quoted me $450.00. BTW, my floors were a constant hit with the people who viewed the home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have off white Pergo floors that show every piece of dust or debris. I would be lost without my Symphony. It cleans and vacuums at the same time and at age 80 I am able to clean my house thoroughly. Whenever I look after a 3 year old granddaughter and food or drink should fall I just steam and sweep it all away. Have been using BISSELL for years and have turned my children on to the brand and in particular the Symphony model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very loud

I purchased this product a couple months ago and couldn't wait to use it! We have 2 dogs and 2 small children so this was going to be a life saver for me! However, I turned it on and it was REALLY loud! Yes, the suction is great, however it is almost unbearable to turn on without ear protection.

We appreciate your feedback. It's nice to hear that you do like the suction with your BISSELL Symphony. It could be the filters. They need to be clean and installed properly. Check the hoses also for any gap and that the dirt cup is in place and securely locked.
