A good vacuum/mop combo

I received the Symphony a couple of days ago and just used it. I have to say I am impressed. So far it is currently doing what it said it would do. I have wood floors and tile floors so when reading what others went through I was skeptical as well to see what issues I would have. I am grateful to say so far I have had no issues. I tried both the disposable pads and the micro-pad and both worked very well for me. My only complaints are 1) if you don't use all of the water, you will have to tip it up in order to remove any unused water; and 2) could not find the label that shows the model/serial numbers anywhere on the machine.

I love the vacuum choice and steam combo. My concern is the heat of the motor after the vacuum is used but I think it will be ok. I also would like to mention that my Bissell was left at my door with just a label. Thankfully no one took it.

Works well but why so LOUD???

I can't be the only person who notices how freakin loud this machine is when in use. Each time I use it I worry about permanent hearing damage. Tonight I wore headphones simply to muffle and it was helpful. It's called Symphony. Lol. Classic. Otherwise, I'm happy to have it and like the results.

Good Machine

I have used my Bissell steam mop for years and loved it, but it starting leaking steam out the side (which isn't good) so I decided to buy the Symphony. My first use I really didn't care for it. I discovered you cannot use the steam and vacuum at the same time. All I got was a mess with all the dog hair that is on the floor. So now I use the vacuum first then the steam and it is working out much better and is still saving me time. The vacuum is good for small stuff so sometimes I still have to use my regular vacuum first. I really like the Symphony steam mop because it doesn't get the floor as wet as my old steam mop and dries faster. Overall, good machine and very sturdy.

What am I missing?

I don't get all these reviews. I hardly get any water coming out on the pad. It and the floors feels virtually dry. It vacuums but not not was much. I keep holding the steam down. It actually hurts my hand. The water must be going somewhere because the level is going down. What am I doing wrong? Why is nothing very damp or clean?

Well that's odd! Check to make sure the mop is set to it's highest steam setting and that the steam indicator light is on. If it's still not steaming correctly give us a call and we'll figure out why your mop's not working, 1-800-263-2535.
