We bought Levana-Jena for our little one. It really surprised us by the quality of the product compared to the price. I have never owned other monitors. So I can not say if others have better or worse quality. But for this one, I think it is enough for us. It is motion and noise sensitive. So when baby moves or cries, the monitor will response and turn on from sleep mode. And we don't want to take any picture from the monitor. So the quality of video is acceptable. The audio is very good. Talking through the monitor and camera is very clear. Overall, we can't expect more from this baby monitor. It does an excellent job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Having issues

I received this monitor as a baby gift. I used it for the first time today when I put my baby in his bed for the first time for his nap. The instructions are not very detailed, but I figured it out and the video worked during his morning nap, but when I put him down for his afternoon nap the video would not work. I have done everything I know to do. I'm not sure where they got the product for me to return for another one and the support page doesn't give me much advice on how to fix the problem. Overall, I think the monitor is great considering you can see your baby, I just wish my video part would work. The sound is great!

We've been using this monitor now for 1 month. It's certainly not the worst monitor in the world but it could be a lot better. when the parent unit is laying on its back (right where the speaker is), the sound is incredibly muffled. When cleaning or sleeping, I would prefer to hear my baby loud and clear. The video quality is grainy but you can see what you need to. The signal goes in and out if our cell phones are near the parent unit, which can be annoying. The battery does last a decent amount of time - about 6 hours. When the battery is low it does beep very loudly to alert you, which is nice. During the night, I do have to turn it towards the wall because even on the dimmest setting, the screen is very bright. The setup was very easy, including mounting the camera to the wall.

Good video quality; a few features lacking

We've been very pleased with the quality of the video we get with this monitor. The only features that we've found lacking are the following:
1) Mounting options for the camera--we'd like to mount the camera on the wall but the swivel of the camera won't allow it; 2) The wireless range is fairly weak--our house is small but we still have dropped signals on occasion; and 3) The kickstand on the monitor breaks easily and we've had to replace it already. Other than those things, we've been pleased and would gladly recommend this monitor to anyone who's looking for one!

The monitor worked great until a couple days ago the camera stopped working and I can't figure out why. It has become very frustrating and stressful. It will work fine one minute and then goes completely black.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my monitor. The picture is so clear and the sound is perfect. we even have fun talking to our little one through the walkie talkie feature

I put this monitor on my registry and decided to set it up ahead of time to be sure it will do the job. There were minimal instructions included, but it was fairly easy and intuitive to get started. I did have to look up what a couple symbols meant, but could have used the monitor without knowing. So far it appears that it will do a fine job. The night vision seems quite good. It doesn't have a zoom as far as I can tell, which would be nice since the screen is so small, but the main purpose of it will be for sound I'm guessing. I'm excited to use it on our first addition to the family.
