I switched to a video monitor when my daughter was 18 months. So glad we did! This one is awesome! The picture is very clear, in color and at night. Peep mode is great (so it only comes on with sound or movement)! Great range, shows temp, handy clip or stand. The only design flaw I notice are the buttons on the front, I've accidentally pressed them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Video Monitor!

We've been using the monitor for about 4 months now and overall I'm very pleased with this product. We registered for it and received it as a gift from family. I did a decent amount of research before picking the Levana Lila and my decision was based on a few factors: 1) Video monitor with night vision & ability to talk to baby 2) Separate video & camera units (did not want to use my cell phone), and 4) Reasonable price. This had all of those things and after reading good reviews online, we chose it.
After 4 months of usage I can say that I'm happy with our choice and have recommended it to friends. The camera vision at night is great and I absolutely LOVE the "Peep Mode" option to save battery life. I have never had a problem with it running out of battery on me - I charge it all night by my bed and turn it off when I'm not using it during the day and I have plenty of battery time always.
My main complaint would have to be the durability of the monitor. I'm pretty gentle on it and yet we've had the stand break off twice now. Levana has been super great about replacing it but I did have to wait quite a while the first time because they were making a more durable stand replacement. The antenna has also chipped/cracked and that's a bummer, but hasn't affected the signal as far as I can tell. They've had great customer service every time and I've appreciated that tremendously! That is a mark of a good company these days in my opinion.

We purchaesd this video monitor about a month ago. It is easy to set up and user friendly. My one concern is the sound activation screen. It activates at the slightest of sounds which is good except that my daughter sleeps with a sound machine so when her machine is on the video will not shut off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This monitor is great for the price! The battery life started out great, but 3 months of using it all night and during nap time the battery dies before 4am. I have to keep it plugged in all night. The picture is clear except for dusk. My daughter basically becomes invisible.
