Has good features, but flaws

When the lighting is right, this camera has a pretty clear picture. It works great when the room is very bright or very dark, but when my son is napping in late afternoon it randomly goes dark to where I can't see anything. I've tried adjusting the brightness/contrast using menu buttons and it doesn't help. Sound works great, but the point of having video monitor is to see! Monitor is very portable and easy to set up in different rooms. Easy to charge battery which lasts a decent amount of time. It does make a really loud beeping sound when it's dying...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a very good monitor. The battery life is pretty short when in video mode, but other than that, its very good. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great monitor when you have multiple kids

I received this monitor when we were pregnant with our second child. The thought of having multiple monitors (one for each child), seemed crazy! Yet, our Levana solved all that. With the ability to have one monitor with multiple cameras synced, and the ability to have the monitor battery operated, I suddenly had the ability to go work in the yard while both kiddos were down for naps! I love it.

This camera saved my life!!! I wasn't so paranoid leaving my baby in his room...even know he will be two soon and I can watch him play in his room safely.

Love the features

I chose this monitor for my registry based on the number of features in the description and the price was reasonable. We use it in the daytime as baby naps, and at night time. The talk to baby feature is great as it allows us to calm him down without getting out of bed. The battery lasts a couple days which is great, as we don't have to worry about it cutting out in the middle of the night and gives us a piece of mind. The picture is generally very clear. Our only negative is that we have found at night time while on night vision, the picture sometimes becomes too dark to see our baby's face clearly.

Screen Freezing

I have been using this product for almost a year now and previously loved it (hence the 2 star rating instead of one star). After last night, however, I would not recommend this product to a friend. I turned on the screen in the middle of the night to check on my son who had been sick. According to the screen he hadn't moved an inch all night which is really strange for my son as he moves around a lot in his sleep. My husband went in to check on him and yelled that he couldn't wake him up. I was halfway to calling 911 and having a panic attack when my husband calls out that my son woke up, thankfully! While I took my son out of the crib to calm him down my husband gets the monitor which shows a still sleeping baby in the crib. Needless to say I've NEVER had this problem before. That screen freezing scared the life out of me!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
