We bought this monitor because we are having twins, and needed something to keep an eye on both. Great quality video and sound! Plus you can't beat the price :)

This monitor is so much better than any we have owned before. I am very happy with our purchase. The images on the screen are clear and crisp and it works well both day and night. It is nice to have the portability, and reliability of a good quality monitor. I love being able to talk back to our baby, and love that it plays music.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Video is disappointing

I bought this monitor based on the good reviews it got, but am really disappointed with the video. Its not as great as everyone says! The picture is adequate for either full light or completely dark, but is pretty much useless for low-light situations like daytime naps or early evening. I can't make out any details of the baby (I can barely see her!) - the video is almost completely dark except for the dark shapes of the furniture in the room. I've had another video monitor in the past and never had this problem with the video quality in low-light.
No manual came with the monitor so its difficult to tell what all the settings on the monitor are for. Trial and error got the system set up and functional, but I still don't know what all these symbols mean.
I'm probably going to return it and buy a different brand.

Affordable Video Monitor

I registered for this monitor because of its low price and video capabilities. We had a little trouble setting it up, it didn't come with good instructions and we weren't able to find an angle that it would work from the wall. We ended up putting up a shelf to position the monitor, but it's working out great! I wish it was capable of zooming in and the night vision isn't the best from the 8 feet away that we have it, but we can still see baby at night. In light, the picture is sharp and the sound quality both ways is terrific. For the price, I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone!

We were unsure whether we needed a video monitor but when we received it as a gift, we were very pleased. It gives us peace of mind to be able to see baby when we are busy in another room. We do wish however that the speaker feature was a bit clearer but all in all still a great feature to have.
