Excellent, Full-Featured Video Monitor

I recently purchased this Levana video monitor as a replacement for my standard audio-only monitor. My very first thought after using this monitor for just a short time, is that there is definitely no going back to audio-only. As a new parent, I often find myself worrying about what position my Son might be in while he is sleeping, or if he is warm enough etc. There have been many times when I have accidentally woken him up by going into his room to check on him. These things are no longer a concern for me, which is the best reason why in my opinion having a video monitor is a must for any parent.
This Levana video monitor produces a very clear picture in absolute darkness, which I was admittedly very skeptical about prior to using it. The sound is very clear, too; with plenty of volume levels (including mute if you want video only). It also provides a room temperature reading which I have found myself paying attention to more than I would have suspected.
Now, moving on to some features that I didn't expect to use, but have since become necessary for me. This monitor has a feature which allows you to play a selection of musical lullaby's remotely. This feature has worked effectively on more than one occasion to put my Son back to sleep. Furthermore, there is an intercom feature which allows you to push-to-talk directly to your child, also something I have used as a calming tool.
Perhaps the feature I'm most impressed with is the incredible battery life this monitor has, despite its full-features. This monitor has never died on me, which was a huge issue that I constantly had with my previous audio monitor. This video monitor will automatically turn off its screen when the baby is sleeping, and turn it back on when the baby wakes up. I was initially worried about use of a sound machine interfering with this feature (as my baby sleeps with white noise), but this monitor has a very smart feature which allows you to set the level of sound-sensitivity required to activate it. I simply raised the sensitivity a few notches, and now the screen turns off and on automatically when it should.

I use this for my husband that has Alzheimers! I have to keep an eye on him 24-7 and this works great!

I bought this just a few days ago, and so far I like all of the features, the picture is good. I like the levels of sound because it can be quiet or loud depending on how much you want to hear your child on the other end. I like that its small enough to carry around like a walkie talkie and so far the battery life is good. I was a little nervous about it not charging correctly on the charging port but so far so good! Hope it lasts me a LONG time!

I researched many video monitors and was impressed by what other customers had to say. I ended up purchasing the Lila monitor and I must say I'm truly impressed. Clear picture and sound without any interference, simple and easy to use. A definite "must buy" for peace of mind. This monitor far exceeded some of the other more expensive ones out there. I'm very happy with it.

Great features

I bought this product for work, and it is amazing. It has gone beyond our expectations with the features. It is nice to be able to check on the room without being disruptive to the people in the room, but still being able to monitor everything. You are able to see unsafe behaviors without being in the room 24 hours a day. The night vision is clear and the two way communication feature is wonderful to remind patients to call for help before they fall. Wonderful product.

My husband and I set up our monitor and played with it for a while. I am so pleased to say that it is everything I could ever want in a monitor, and so much more. The signal that the monitor emits is private, so no snooping neighbors will pick up on it, and I absolutely love how sensitive it is to movement and sound. I am so glad my sister recommended this monitor to me, I know it will come in very useful.

This is a great monitor. Purchased this one after my original Levana was not going to work (only had one camera-needed two for newborn plus original). My only dislike is that the screen is a bit small for the price. Still, this is far better and easier to use than some of the others out there. I also wish there was built-in wi-fi so I can watch from a distance.
