bought this and set it up in my toddler's room and infants room. i'm able to check on both with the auto feature.

Bang for the Buck

Before I purchased the Lila baby monitor, I read a lot of the reviews for it and its competition in the same price range. Most negative reviews slammed it for a choppy picture and too low of a noise threshold. I decided to go with the Lila anyways and I am very impressed. Yes the video sampling rate is a little slow so things are a little choppy and the sound that comes through the speakers is a little tinny but for around $100 you get a lot. The picture is more than adequate and the night vision works a lot better than I figured it would. The set up was easy, everything on the cameras and the hand unit are marked clearly. The transmitter range seems fine as well. Some people complained in other reviews about the range but your home construction has as much to do with the range as the unit does. My only real negative on the unit is that when you switch between cameras, you have to go into a couple different menus to do it. It would be nice to just have one button on the side that did it for you.
If you wanted to spend double or triple, I am sure you could get a better picture and speakers but I wouldn’t. This baby monitor is a great buy for the money. Overall I am very impressed.

Spectacular Monitor

I just bought this product a little over a week ago, and I use it daily now. I had my eye on this product since I was first looking through the variety of video monitors. It helps me to be confident with leaving her in the room while she is sleeping or when she's being baby sat. This is my first child and at a couple weeks old she's kept me very busy in the laundry and cleaning department. With this monitor it's given me more confidence to leave her alone in the room as I go clean the house or do some laundry.
The only thing I wish it had was wifi capabilities, so I could perhaps check in on her easier while I'm at work and she's being watched by someone else. But it's a great monitor for the price.

We had some challenges getting reception in our very large house with thick walls and many wireless devices. The Lila digital baby monitor is working perfectly and we are thrilled with the clarity of picture and sound. The price is terrific compared to other models, and I love that we can add another camera. Wish we had seen the open box option, but we are very satisfied with our purchase.

Awesome Night Vision

So far so good with this monitor. I've only had it for a few weeks but thus far I am really enjoying its clear picture. Even the night vision is crisp and clear! It is very sensitive, picking up small sounds but thats a good thing for me. Its size is small and fits nicely in your pocket. I'm impressed.

Cons: having used a Uniden video monitor in comparison, this monitor could have used the following features:
- Ability to lighten / darken monitor screen instead of just contrast from camera feed
- digital zoom
- video out to output to TV/computer
- split screen to monitor multiple camera feeds
- less lag time for audio/video (it's still low, but seen quicker ones)
