Right balance of security,fire protection, size

We needed a larger fire resistant safe, and researched several different manufacturers and models. The EF4738E is rugged, secure, and the digital keypad is much more conveinent than the combination lock of our previous safe. The ETL (third party) verification was also important, althought the lack of any industry fire protection rating standards make it difficult to compare with other manufacturers.

Overall looks great and a good value. One issue the directions for setting up entry passwords not East to follow as the location of factory unchangeable code needed yo set personal code not well elucidated. Once you figure that, very easy to set up and use.
