Read a lot of reviews and it made me real leery about the product, but so far everything is good. Came in good shape and everything seems to work.
One bad point is the desiccant bags that come in the safe - throw them out IMMEDIATLY ! They smell like super-concentrated Lysol and it is overwhelming in a small space. Had to spray Febreze and leave safe open for 3 or 4 days to remove some of the stink.
Also vacuum out the inside because there is white powder inside that seems to be from the mounting holes exposed cement. Also wish the skeleton keys were shorter so I could have one on a keyring, but not a big deal. Just hope it works for a long time.
( I had a Mesa safe that broke inside the locking mechanism. Even the key wouldn't work. Had to call a safe cracker (locksmith) to drill a hole in it to open it, and there were no repair parts available. Trashed it and cost as much as the safe to get my stuff out. ) Don't want that to happen with this one.
