After one year indoors in Southern California the cage is seriously rusted. Poor quality at a premium price.

Almost perfect floor fan

The only objectionable part of this fan is the blue power light. It is bright and pointing in an upward direction. It shines through the fan grill and the grill shadow reflects off the ceiling. In this case the bedroom ceiling (which is the standard eight feet high). Of course the shadow moves back and forth with the motion of the fan. In our case we also have a ceiling fan running and that casts a shadow as well. So the ceiling "light show" is quite active and could be a nuisance if one had a hard time falling to sleep. Maybe count fan rotations instead of sheep?

Nice quiet fan

I had the previous version of this fan and gave it to my upstairs neighbor because she had this really loud fan that made so much noise it kept me up at night. So I purchased a replacement (this new pedestal fan) and think it's a lot quieter than the previous and also seems to have a bigger fan diameter. Even in quiet mode it seems to move quite a lot of air - and in this mode you can't even hear it running - perfect for me. If there's a con, it would be the flimsy base where the adjustable fan tube mates with the plastic compression ring. But since I don't have to move the fan this isn't a real con (if I had to move the fan regularly I'd be concerned that the compression ring or the plastic base would crack).

Works fine but both mine & my daughter’s fan grills are covered with rust! C’mon now!? This is not a cheap fan & they couldn’t go a little extra mile to make sure the grills don’t rust?! I have fans that are quarter the price that still look good 5 years after I bought them. Huge disappointment

I had just bought this fan andI was shocked to find they do not include the battery for the remote!!!!! If I was aware of this I would have bought a brand which also includes batteries for the remote.

On top of that, it is NOT quiet in the least and while it works fine, not what I expected for the price

I would buy this product again in a heartbeat!

I've had this unit for 3 months and it is absolutely worth it! Even on the turbo top speed it is not noisy! The medium cycle that produces a lot of air also has a very low decibel and the sleep/low mode you cannot hear at all.

The Fan didn't have enough speed for me. This fan is not a good fan for the money.
