The Best Fan In 50 Years

I have used all kind of fans and different Brands in over 50 years and this is by far "THE BEST FAN" that I have ever used. I like putting this fan in an isolated spot where it is warm and fan puts out cooler air when you use the BLUE button. This is a very UNIQUE fan I just got this for a GOOD FRIEND of mine for his workshop. I would give him one of mine, but I'm STINGY and won't give them away. "GREAT DEAL".

Great fan, easy to assemble, cleaning on the other hand is a bit difficult. It was easy to put together, but taking it apart for cleaning....whew. I always keep two copies of the instruction around, one hard copy and one digital copy on my computer just in case the paper copy is difficult to find. All-in-all the fan is the best I've ever bought. I place it over the best american made name brands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The product specifications online for this fan does not provide consumers with enough information regarding an important feature for this device. Specifically, consumers should know up front they are responsible for the purchase of a battery for the remote control.

extreamly poor base design

the plate that you attach the base to that is located at the bottom of pole, is held on by 4 little screws that go into thin plastic mounts less than 1/4". They sheared off and the reciever plate came out of the bottom of the pole still attached to the base. Now the fan is useless to us as it is broken. Other than that, a great product. I doubt that this will get posted, but I feel better letting the company know about this weak spot, but figure that they have heard about this already.

Grill immediately corrodes

It’s a good fan EXCEPT the grill starts corroding the moment you take it out of the box. I’ve owned two Rowenta pedestal fans. The first fan grill was totally corroded. The second fan, I coated the entire grill with clear Rustoleum and it made no difference. The cheap grill is totally corroded. The Rowenta rusted grill is very unsightly and nasty looking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good airflow + low noise

I have had two Rowenta pedestal fans and it does a very good job of cooling. But I have two reservations that may prevent me from getting another one due to quality and convenience.
1) The finish on the metal grille rusts so very quickly. When I purchased my second fan prior to using it I sprayed a clear Rustoleum finish on it hoping that it would prevent it from looking like my first fan. It did make a small difference for about the first year.
2) They need to add an oscillation control button on the remote s otaht you do not have to keep standing up and walking over to the fan.
I would recommend this to a friend!
