The Best Fan!

This Rowenta fan is incredible. I wasn't expecting anything more than an average fan, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how well it works. In the past, I've purchased cheaper fans, but they don't provide the cooling power this fan does. Even when I used it on the lowest setting, I actually felt a bit cold, and that never happened to me before from just using a fan! Also, it's very quiet and looks sleek and modern. The remote control is also convenient. I would definitely purchase a Rowenta fan in the future!

I had read reviews prior to purchase. There were two negative threads of comments-rusty screens and poor customer service. I was not overly concerned about the screen rusting. The fan will be indoors and our climate is not overly humid.
When my fan first arrived the motor housing was loose. I contacted Rowenta, they immediately said that the housing should not have been loose, and they sent a replacement within 48 hours without questions. Customer service could not be better.

I did agonize about spending this much on a fan but my initial impressions are positive. I went for the slightly cheaper lower priced model and the 4 speeds with turbo (essentially 8 speeds) is more than enough. The remote works well but is something I never use and do not feel is really necessary.
The base is extremely stable, the support system is solid and the fan is quiet and moves enough air for my space. I had hoped from some of the reviews that it may push a little more air but it is as good or better than any similar fan I have owned in the past. I rated the quality lower because of the initial housing housing-for the replacement fan I have now I would give it a 5.

This fan is the biggest piece of crap ever

I purchased this fan, a little over six months ago. It worked great for the first month. Then it got noisy, and the noise has just continued to get louder and louder and louder. I purchased this fan thinking that it would be quiet, it squeaks it rattles it’s cheap. If you’re considering buying this fan, look elsewhere, your going to hate this one
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is very quiet until we hear a click on every rotation.I package it back up and returned for a new one. The new one is doing the same except on a different position on the rotation.

Sleek, sturdy & heavy fan

I love the styling of the fan; it's very innovative. It's a very sturdy design and appears it will last for years. This fan is VERY heavy. I'm not sure why it needs to be so heavy. I'm afraid to carry the fan by the top handle because it is so heavy. My fear is since the base is so heavy the top part of the fan will detach from the base. Perhaps a better design would be to have a hole where the tension screw is that connects the upper and lower parts of the fan. The fan is quiet even on the highest speed. Currently, it's used to cool our spare bedroom.

Heavy Duty Fan with Whisper Quiet Power

This Turbo Silence fan is by far the most heavy duty (and heaviest!) fan I've ever owned. I received it during a severe heat wave in Chicago, and used it in an apartment with no air conditioner. It certainly blew away (heh heh) every other fan I was using up to that point.

Not a big difference in the Turbo vs High Speed on this fan. Although the nice and quiet operation is nice without all that loud white noise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Rowena fan is very quiet as advertised. It has a remote and you can set a timer on the fan or remote to shut off within 8 hours or less. It oscillates but you need to get off the couch (it is good to do this since you burn calories so stop complaining) to manually activate it. The fan cover is metal and is a *itch to manipulate it off. It does pop off but you need to man handle it. I recommend to unplug it first and unscrew the main bolt that connects the fan to the base. This will prevent you from breaking the main bolt. This bolt broke a few months back and now my fan sits on the base and is a bit wobbly and may easily topple over. This is a design flaw. That said, I will use massive amounts of duct tape to secure it. I know, ghetto. Obviously, I am not going to bring it or ship it for repair because I am lazy and the warranty is over and it's too hot to be without a fan. It gets a 3 or 4 star rating.
I would recommend this to a friend!
