This fan is very quiet and I bought it, although higher priced than most, for the remote control. It is worth the money and very stylish in the corner of my family room, to add to the air circulation. I would buy this again if a need presents itself.

This is a solid, quiet, very effective fan. It's perfect for a large room at home where you need air flow but don't want noise. .

Features, quality, silent mode and remote Great!

Rowenta pedestal fan, due to its overal durability, features, and a silent mode it is a great fan. I had 2 Hunter fans I was replacing one of these burned up, so began shopping for replacements. I do recommend the fan from Rowenta, but this has only been in use for just over a month.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this fan a month ago. It is so quiet and doesn't make a sound at level 1 and 2. You can hear it barely at 3 and turbo. Gives a great amount of air circulation for being a small fan. We live in central valley California and use it to keep cooling cost down. I don't care for the look of stand fans but this ones not bad.
I would recommend this to a friend!
