This fan is great. We wanted a fan for our family room to supplement the ceiling fan and this has been the perfect, silent addition. The fan is powerful, sturdy, and stylish. My kids ran into it a few times and it did not even budge. It is extremely quiet so can still have conversations or hear the tv without turning up the volume.
