Had the previous model of this oven but they were having troubles with and after 4 years the touch panel quit working. I called GE and they worked with us and ended up replacing the oven win a new model free of charge. Thanks to all the GE employees that worked in us.

Too soon to tell

This was a replacement for an over-the-stove model (that was matched by GE to our GE range) that failed, we think because heat from the burners adversely affected the touch screen (even though we always has the vent on). This one seems to be better engineered, however we are experiencing fogging of the door when using the front left burner (in spite of having the vent on). So time will tell.

Very solid cooktop

Bought this cooktop as part of a full set of GE Cafe appliances. So far we are very pleased. It's robust enough to handle a lot of cooking. Reasonably easy to keep clean and most of all, provides pleanty of heat. We especially like the center burner. It is a dual ring that provides lists of heat for boiling water yet turns down to a low simmer when needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

MISTAKES CAN BE GOOD

We purchased a Cafe suite. The refrigerator was the main focus (see fridge review). After selecting a refrigerator . We were kinda tired and didn't check out the Microwave much, since we only use it for reheating and occasionally popcorn. After I installed it I felt I really should have looked it over and may not have chose this suite. I have always used the keypad, even though my old microwave had other features. the missing keypad was a disappointment, but after using the reheat beverage and defrost buttons I am very happy with it and very glad I didn't check it out and have it affect my decision on this suite.
The reheat feature works great. It was hard to trust it but temp seem good every time I have used it.

This is my second GE microwave. The first one a profile, lasted 9 years we replaced it to match the fridge. The fan moves 300cfm and is way quieter the the previous model. That makes my wife happy, happy wife happy life :)

this is a replacement GE Café microwave. These microwaves are a great product and would highly recommend. First one failed after 3yrs. and GE replaced with the newer model at no charge.

i have had this for about 3 months. i like the rotating dial to adjust time and power and the metal interior is easy to clean. it is over my stove and vented to the outside. the fan has enough power to clear vapors from the stove top.
