Very good Microwave

I had problems with previous touch panel GE microwaves and swore I would not buy another, but they solved the problem by eliminating the touch panel and using a simple dial. Since installation we have had no problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought the GE cafe series and have spent our money well. We defrost mist items and the microwave does it 5 times as a standard microwave. The design is perfect.

Clock does not stay illuminated

So...another way we are protecting ourselves from ourselves. The clock does NOT stay illuminated. This is an "energy saving" feature. Can you imagine??!! Why don't the allow the consumer to decide whether or not we want to save energy?? Maddening.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was a replacement for an very problematic Cafe

These things have been the horrible. First Cafe microwave, which was a lot cooler looking, had design issues that caused the touch pad to fail, mine failed just under the 5 year extended warranty(GE extended the warranty due to all of the issues the model had), and was replaced with this CVM1750.
The installers sent by GE did a mediocre job on the installation and here we are five years later with me spending money to repair this one. The Range Suction Guide and Range Blower Fan melted themselves into one seized piece. And one of the Thermostats has failed and needs to be replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awful! Do not buy!
