Wanted to love it!

We paid extra for this fridge to be installed in our newly built home, and we thought we'd love it. We've had to have it serviced twice the first 3 months we owned it, and we keep having condensation problems inside the fridge. Overall the fridge has been OK, but wished we had made another choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the worst refrigerator I have ever owned. It sounds like it is going to grind to a halt any moment.

Bigger Than Expected

We recently built a home and of course, needed new appliances. The opening for our fridge is in the middle of the cabinets, so we preferred a cabinet-depth, French door model. Other "must haves" were internal water dispensing, ice maker and storage. Unfortunately, our options were limited because most French door models feature external dispensing and the interior space is limited, but we had GE previously and liked what we had. After reviewing a few options, we choose this model from GE. And I must say that it has really given us everything we were looking for...and then some. If you're in the market for a counter-depth model, look at this model. It has a ton of space, but hides it well.

Perfect Design/Space

It offers the right amount of space for a couple and a two kids. We love the water filter inside because we did not want to have it on front of the appliance as it creates a mess after every serve

Good so far- but dinged doors in delivery

I'm disappointed the appliance arrived with dings on the two doors. This was something that occurred at the GE plant. I'm also unhappy that GE doesn't let customers know this a custom order appliance. The delivery was delayed two weeks beyond the original month.

Fridge Is OK

counter-depth fridge- inside roomy & bright, nice depth on door shelves, cool-water dispenser on inside wall-interesting feature, we'll see how long rubber switch cover lasts. Freezer- nice size & bright, drawer exposes everything inside- don't have to shuffle things on shelf deep inside freezer; ice tray doesn't pull out with drawer- 95% time opening freezer for ice; like door alarm since our original single-door fridge would close itself. shows fingerprints terribly- handles, doors.

I like the refrigerator the only one thing I have issue with is that the stainless steel is not on the sides of refrigerator and I didnt think to ask that when I bought it!
