DONT BUY! BROKE DOWN 4 WEEKS AFTER INSTALL!!!

Four weeks after installation, our fridge completely stopped cooling! We found out that the it had a faulty fan motor! Unbelievable for a $2200 fridge after 4 weeks of use! We clearly got a lemon and now we are stuck with it!!!!!

I bought this 4 months ago and after 30 days the temperature fluctuated between 62 and 32 constantly!

Broke in 6 months

I bought this 6 months ago and it already broke the cooling system of the refrigerator twice. Not to mention that the problem occurred less than one month apart to each other.

A real disappointment!!

Bought this new unit at the beginning of 2015. Unit failed and GE replaced the condenser fan after waiting a week. Now the fridge makes a racket and stopped cooling again. Need to wait more than 12 days for a repair appointment. I would certainly avoid this unit.

The refrigerator came with the new house we had built. The unit had to be replaced 30 days after move in. The replaced unit had to repaired 30 days after that. Ten other homes in our subdivision had the same issue. Cooling fan in the refrigerator was faulty.

Software Update and Noise Kit

Purchased in March 2015 along with 3 other GE Profile appliances. The refrigerator is noisy and seems to be running all of the time. We opened two walls up and purchased the set based off of the 42 d dishwasher, so the noisy refrigerator has been very frustrating. Two days ago the refrigerator stopped cooling. Luckily, I had service scheduled for the noise the next day. There is a software update from GE for the refrigerator and I asked for the compressor noise stop kit from GE. The refrigerator is only 7 months old, so I don't agree with putting this product on the market.

Way too noisy!!!

I purchased this as a replacement to an earlier GE Profile of same config (counter-depth, French doors with pull-out freezer on bottom).
To their credit, GE delivered ahead of schedule and the installers were great. Fridge appearance is very sleek, inside is nicer than before, LED lights are kinda cool. Freezer compartment and ice maker are definite upgrades from earlier model.
BUT: This thing is LOUD!!! It runs quite a lot, or at least I notice it because much of the time it's running the fan/compressor/whatever is stunningly annoying - especially considering the Profile 'premium' pricing category. Wish I had looked at other reviews mentioning the same thing. I would not purchase this again because of the seemingly constant noise it makes. My kitchen is one of the most important areas in my house and now there's a constant buzzing/humming - I hate it.
