Disappointed!

Disappointed! I got rid of a problem Samsung to buy this fridge. I Love the design, but the water dispenser is so hard to press that it literally Is painful. It takes two hands to fill the water. The ice production is so slow That it takes three days to fill the bin. If you have a party, the ice will be gone in no time and will take days to refill.

The icemaker in this refrigerator produces approximately 7 cubes of ice every 70 to 80 minutes which is .21 pounds of ice using about 4 ounces of water. That is about 4 pounds of ice per day. Disappointed with this refrigerator and with GE

We went to a well respected appliance store to purchase a GE range. My husband saw this refrigerator. I absolutely did not like it and tried to get him not to buy it. Now he wishes he had listened to me. We waited 4 months to get this refrigerator. It was delivered yesterday 10-29-2020. The display model had medium gray sides. That was my number one request on purchasing a new refrigerator. This one came with black sides. Was told GE made changes to the product line. It looks awful to have a stainless steel front with black sides. Who came up with that color scheme? The back of the frig is poorly made and the metal is puckered. The screws look like someone didn't care about their work and just gave it a hit or miss. The interior paint job is terrible! There are deep scratches in the paint. The interior area around the top of the left door is deeply scratched like someone used sandpaper on it and forgot to paint it. Very poor workmanship. Also It is not a true counter depth refrigerator. With the handles it stick out 31 inches. However, the real problem is that I can't even fit a good size head of lettuce in the crisper drawer.The display model had bigger crisper drawers. Another GE product line change I suppose. I should have refused delivery and paid the restocking fee but our previous refrigerator died when my husband moved it to make room for this one. Since it takes so long to get new refrigerators now I had no choice but to keep it. This refrigerator is a very expensive, gloried, soft drink holder and little else. I hate to waste money, but I actually hope this refrigerator is one of the ones that has a bad compressor so I can get my husband to get rid of of it.

Love the counter depth and overall features. Wish there was a bit more freezer space. Purchased a Profile but no where is that shown on the door.

Wish I could return

This model's layout is awkward. The double doors are a great feature, but the shelves aren't deep even there is more depth to the refrigerator. The water dispenser is very hard to use. The shape of the bottom drawer of the freezer is limiting as one side slopes at a 45 degree angle. Moisture enters all of the bags of food and containers of food, even new, sealed bags of lettuce.

We would not recommend this refrigerator for a few reasons; the doors don't close when half way open, the top tray of freezer can't be closed by itself...it has to be closed with outside drawer and water filter doesn't filter.

We moved into our new construction home and it had this refrigerator. Its an awful design, you have to open the door to get your water, the button is very difficult to push and is rather high so I cant really use it being a short woman. An additional foolish feature is the deli drawer, it is the entire width of the fridge so you have to open BOTH doors just to get somethin out.
We are actually going to take a huge loss and buy a different refrigerator. Another resident in this four plex has already done the same thing - replaced her fridge!
