Great American built product

Great product ! Returned two new Electrolux fridges due to poor quality prior to our dealer Max’s in Traverse City recommending the GE Profile. I would suggest changing out the left door stop to a softer rubber to prevent a harsh noise. I personally changed it to a softer durometer rubber and it is quiet now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the extra deep side compartments on the door; the ice tray is to small; using the filtered water faucet requires two hands and the refrigerator runs pretty much constantly. Great lighting of both refrig and freezer compartments.

Great slate color and features

Overall, we are very happy with this fridge. However, when we went to hook up the water line the shroud was off of the compressor. Snapped it back in place, but now the fridge hums continuously. We contacted the appliance store where we purchased the fridge and a part is now on order. It's very disappointing that we've had to request a service call on a brand new product.

Nice refrigerator

GE Profile is a good product. Delivery, which isn’t the manufacturer’s responsibility, was terrible. I had to put it in place and set it up myself which I found to be very simple. Looks good and per my experience with the product I’m sure it will work as expected for many years.

the fridge will not maintain set temp....

I like the design but it will not cool. I have it set on 35 degrees and today it reached 50 degrees inside and ice frost was forming on all items in freezer. We have placed a laboratory grade thermometertin the fridge and tracking data. The past 3 days it has had temp swings of 15 degrees. What is wrong with this unit. I have it registered.

Hello- We appreciate your purchase and understand your concern regarding the temperature. Food load has a lot to do with stabilizing the temperature. Closed containers of water, food or non-perishables will help to stabilize the temperature. This is because the items in the refrigerator absorb the cold and actually work to help the refrigerator maintain a steady temperature in much the same way that ice cubes keep a drink cold. When you open the refrigerator door, the cool air rushes out and warm air rushes in. The more items in the refrigerator, the less cool air is needed to keep the refrigerator cold. Therefore, when you close the door again, the refrigerator returns to a stable temperature more quickly. Note: We also recommend that you check to see if large containers are blocking the flow of cold air and adversely affect the temperatures in the refrigerator. We recommend moving taller items forward so they don't block the air flow.

Brand new water filter + ice maker broken

Just purchased brand new condo. This refrigerator had a broken water filter + ice maker upon moving in. It has taken 4 weeks to have someone come onsite to repair.
