Worked for two weeks

Quit cooling and freezing after two weeks. Everything ruined.

compressor went out after one week

after compressor failed one week in, GE was good about replacing in quickly. However, the refrigerator is louder than before and vibrantly “running’ and freezer is not cold enough. returning for a Kitchen Aid :(

New Fridge-It's been a long journey

Our previous fridge was a GE and lasted a long time so we were somewhat set on getting another GE after our current fridge recently died on us. We were interested in getting something a little larger than out current fridge so we went with this model. We went with the slate finish and have had a lot of issues with scratches and scuffs in it. We are on our third fridge and our second freezer door is here waiting to be installed. We spent a lot of money on this fridge and have been disappointed that every one that we have received has had damage to the finish. To GE's credit I will say that they have been good to work with to get replacement fridges or doors sent to us however it shouldn't be this hard. Other thing I would note is that the fridge is louder than our previous one which I wasn't expecting. The drawer slides on the freezer door squeak and seem a little flimsy. Hope they hold up long term. Can't rate anything higher than 1 star at this point. Maybe a few months from now the rating would be higher.

Great American built product

Great product ! Returned two new Electrolux fridges due to poor quality prior to our dealer Max’s in Traverse City recommending the GE Profile. I would suggest changing out the left door stop to a softer rubber to prevent a harsh noise. I personally changed it to a softer durometer rubber and it is quiet now.

I like the extra deep side compartments on the door; the ice tray is to small; using the filtered water faucet requires two hands and the refrigerator runs pretty much constantly. Great lighting of both refrig and freezer compartments.

Great slate color and features

Overall, we are very happy with this fridge. However, when we went to hook up the water line the shroud was off of the compressor. Snapped it back in place, but now the fridge hums continuously. We contacted the appliance store where we purchased the fridge and a part is now on order. It's very disappointing that we've had to request a service call on a brand new product.

Nice refrigerator

GE Profile is a good product. Delivery, which isn’t the manufacturer’s responsibility, was terrible. I had to put it in place and set it up myself which I found to be very simple. Looks good and per my experience with the product I’m sure it will work as expected for many years.
