Only lasted two months

The fridge only worked for two months. Difficulty for repair people to get parts to see if will work. Waiting another two weeks to see if next part will fix. A new fridge for 3000 lasts two months. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We like it. A little noisy and they do not remove the plastic from the sheet metal before they assemble it so it is a bit of a job to get it off from the edges where it meets another part.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Filter system not working

We bought this fridge due to its excellent water filter. That is the ONLY reason. But I could not get it working and an official GE techie couldn’t get the filter system working either. It’s taking too long (weeks). Should have arrived in good working order.

we replaced a 12 yr old Profile with a new one. Installers did a poor job removing plastic, didn't level it. The fridge periodically gets an annoying , loud humming noise. never had that with the old one. Poor delivery/installation.

My Favorite Fridge EVER!

I have had 6 different refrigerators over 50 years of my marriage. This one is #7 and is the best one of all. Everything is awesome: the interior lighting, use of space, organization and appearance. We absolutely love it!

The plastic meat tray doesn't slide right, always getting stuck. It is loud making noises all the time. Shows fingerprints easy. I hate it.

It saddens us to hear that you hate your refrigerator. We can certainly understand how a hard to slide meat tray, loud noises, and constantly having to clean fingerprints can cause frustration. It's recommended to wipe away fingerprints after each use with a microfiber cloth. Nice features, fits well, quiet, etc, BUT......
Out of the box, the side door electronic panel didn't work. And it's been gruesome to get warranty service.

The perfect refrigerator!!

I love, love, love this refrigerator!!! First, it’s fingerprint resistant!! Less work for me. Next, the arrangement and design of the shelves make it easy to see what you’ve got without a lot of bending and stretching like my old side by side. I love the compartments for meat/cold cuts, fruits and veggies and the deep shelves in the doors!
Finally, having dealt with ice in the door issues for years it’s awesome to have the sleek doors, cool water right inside the left door and plentiful ice readily accessible in the drawer! Love the sections in the freezer too!! Love my choice!!
