Overall, a good fridge

I replaced a 21 year old french door GE with this new counter depth model. The space is much better in this one than the old one for sure. LED lighting makes seeing things much easier and the shelf system allows you to fully customize where you want to keep your items. A particularly nice feature is the meat try with digital temperature.
Build quality seems to be solid thus far. Shelves are capable of supporting heavy items and the door space is far better than the old models.
This fridge makes far less compressor noise than the 2 decade old model that we used to have but it does run longer. More on this later. The ice maker does make the same sounds as the old one when making ice cubes.
The freezer drawer is not a break-seal model. This means that you're going to have to give the handle a good tug when you open it. Make sure you do this dead center or you could pull the drawer off the tracks. The storage in the freezer is okay and the only not so nice feature is the plastic sliding drawers. If I had one wish it would be that the bins were made of metal. A question that nobody could answer for me but I can now report is that you certainly can keep a large frozen turkey in this freezer.
Now, on the day you get your new fridge, keep in mind that it will take hours to get it nice and cold inside. It took 5 hours for mine to chill down enough to hold food. If you put something hot inside, do not be surprised if the temp rises a few degrees above 37 and then takes an hour or two for it to drop back down. It's just how these new one work.
Overall a good solid unit that I would buy again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are very pleased with the refrigerator. Finally a refrigerator with a dependable ice maker. We also like the water dispenser inside the fridge, it doesn't take up any room and the front of the refrigerator remains clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but not great

Overall I like this fridge, but a few things bug me. The main compartment depth seems short. There is a lot of volume in the doors for things but if not full- things shift when opening the doors. The veggie drawers are small. The deli tray is full width so you need both doors open fully to open the drawer. It skips off its slide and is hard to close at times. I do like the lighting. I like the internal water dispenser. The freezer seams small. Handles are fingerprint resistant but doors are not. I also was unable to get my doors to line up perfectly. Overall it’s Okay but for the price was hoping for better.

We've only had the refrigerator for a few weeks. I was disappointed that upon delivery there was already a piece in the freezer that was broken. Besides that, you really have to tug on the freezer door to open it. I'm afraid the handle will eventually pull off.

Freezer door is difficult to pull out
on December 20, 2021

I personally like my french door refrigerator. The only problem I have is with the freezer door not in alignment. When pulling out the door you need to use both hands on the handle so that it doesn't sway from side to side. This occurs whether there it is full of items or empty.
