Refrigerator is well designed for storage, but has a high pitch hum when running which is much of the time. Also stopped making ice cubes after two weeks, and is hard to open freezer door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great use of space and looks nice

I really like how the fridge utilizes space. I was hesitant to go with a counter depth model but this fridge has plenty of space for a family of 5. My only complaint is the fridge is very loud. Much louder then my previous fridge and this one is even in a cabinet. It also loses temp pretty fast when there is no power. It went from 40 degrees to 50 degrees within 15 minutes without opening the door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Freezer keeps getting warmer than it is set.

It is a great size but it is not consistently keeping ice frozen. No matter how we set it, it frequently says as much as 17 degrees instead of -12.

Great fridge, concerning QC

We like the unit but delivered with the lights in the fridge compartment inop from the factory after waiting 4 months for delivery. Chasing GE and their 3rd party repair place to get it fixed is the opposite of something I ought to be doing after dropping $$$ on this unit, but yet here I am making repeat follow up calls.
