Don't go based on favorable reviews from those who've had for <3-4 years!! We are going on 5 years of owning this model. During the 4th year, we started having issues with the freezer. Over freezing, leaking water, not making ice, etc. etc. Since we had the extended warranty, the GE servicemen came out but we are not impressed. They did the USB diagnostic and water filter change the first time, although the water filter was about one week overdue. They had to come out 5 times over 3 weeks, because nothing they did resolved the issue fully. By the 5th visit, 3 weeks in, they had changed gasket, ice maker, valve and water filter. One would think "we're good to go for another few years", although the fridge was not performing "great". . . Fast forward, 8 months, the refrigerator's actual temp is 61 degrees (set at 37), and the freezer's actual temp is -9 degrees (set at 0). Refrigerator is properly loaded, closed, clean inside, outside, top, bottom, back. . . This is the worse appliance experience!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Refrigerator - Just Received Today 4/28/20

We recently purchased this GE Profile Counter Depth refrigerator to replace an LG refrigerator that was probably 11 years old (was part of the home, when we purchased) - we chose the GE Profile to match two other Profile appliances we have, plus its made in America!! I have to be honest we were on the fence though, based on several comments I saw about the noise of the refrigerator - not many, but enough to make you think twice. Well we plugged it in this morning when it arrive, and yes it is noisier than the 11 year old LG refrigerator than we had. The LG refrigerator I could hardly here, but the GE is noticeable, but not unbearable. I'm happy with the purchase - for styling - I give it 5 stars, the draws do seem a bit on the cheap side, especially in the freezer, but overall so far so good. Constructive feedback to GE, would be to reduce the refrigerator noise, to align with LG and you'd had a clear winner.

Love the space in my frig BUT

We just bought this frig and already had to call for a service to come out to look at what’s wrong. The lights come on randomly when we open the doors, everything is always wet inside. And makes a weird noice about every 15-30 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great refrigerator, we are very happy with our purchase. Beautiful internal led lighting. Originally I wrote about this refrigerator being noisier than our old LG, however after the fridge running for a week you dont even notice it is running, it's quite and hardly runs. We love it.

Love our fridge. Have had no issues since purchase. Although it is a counter depth fridge.. it still manages to maximize space we near features—- like deeper door space, adjustable shelving, and a drop down tray in the door

We've only had this for a month, but so far so good. I like the ice and water inside the fridge better than outside the door.
The shelves are easy to adjust and it has a nice sleek lookt. At 23.1 cubic feet, it's surprisingly spacious.

I wanted a counter depth refrigerator that had a lot of interior space. This was it. Enjoy the ice maker as well as the filtered water spout located inside.
