Very Good Unit

It is great in every respect, but the design of the freezer compartment. The bottom portion is basically a catchall basin with things piled on top of each other. Not easy to organize.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have been using the GE Side-by-Side Profile unit for 14 yrs with no issues. We just remodeled our kitchen and went with SS appliances, all GE Profile. We did not want the ice-maker/dispenser in the door. This model does have those features but inside allowing for a cleaner look and easier maintenance. This model has more useable space even though it shares the same dimensions as our older unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features. Good looking unit. The LED lights inside are awesome! Refrigerator/freezer controls on door are easy to use- temp display is a great feature. The only thing I don't like in comparison to my previous GE refrigerator/freezer is the freezer chest drawer on bottom . It is much more difficult to organize and fit as many groceries in the chest slide out drawers and ice maker/holder takes up alot of room.

Very spacious

Just installed in a new house a few months ago. We really like the features and the spaciousness of this Profile model. So glad we did not get the exterior door water dispenser so we have more room in the fridge. The interior LED lighting is excellent.

The French doors are unsatisfactory. Have to open BOTH doors to put a med to large plate in. Side door shelves stick out too far making it awkward to open just one door to get into the drawers. Louder than I would think.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I went from a side-by-side with icemaker in the door to the French doors with icemaker in the freezer below. The amount of storage space in the fridge is well worth having to retrieve ice from the freezer bucket.
