This is the 2nd time we've purchased this model. First one is in our primary home. This one is louder than our other one when in normal operation. Also the ice maker fill valve clatters when filling the ice tray. We are waiting to see if it continues before putting in for warranty service. Other functions seem to operate normally.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Matte black looks great

Good looking fridge with excellent cooling/freezing. Got the matte black which looks super. Great ice maker. Took a little while to get used to the water inside but the clean look outside is worth it

I like that the refrigerator is not too deep. I also like the compartmenting in the freeze. It has enough compartmentalization I can keep things organized.

STAY AWAY: Designed not to cool to save energy!

We purchased this fridge in February 2023 for our new build and it has been nothing short of a headache. The fridge does NOT keep cool, it’s constantly above 40 degrees, even spiking to over 50 occasionally. It is also constantly full of condensation, nothing lasts. We have thrown away so much food due to its inability to keep cold. My wife's fresh fruit lasts a day or two at most. STAY FAR AWAY from this unit. It is now July 2023 (5 months old) and we have had parts replaced and a tech out three times and GE is claiming it’s working as designed. This fridge is more focused on energy consumption rather than food safety. The fridge does not keep temp. There is no excuse for this, AGAIN STAY FAR AWAY, get yourself a real fridge that wont get your family sick
