Love the bottom freezer and double doors, roomy

We are very please with our refrigerator. It is perfect for our space. We like the bottom freezer and double doors. There is nothing not to like and lots to like.

OK - but not great

Emergency replacement of a very good refrigerator. Online research led us to GE. There are some pretty good things about this model: good capacity, nice appearance, good lighting, flexible shelving. However, there are several things we don't like: it's noisier than previous fridge, the internal water dispenser produces barely cool water (49 degrees when the interior is 37 degrees), the ice sticks together in 3 and 4 pieces, and - this is the most annoying - the butter shelf requires TWO HANDS to open and retrieve something from it. If given the chance I would say "Maybe" to recommending it.

This fridge has enough room to hold food enough for our small family of 3. Is very quiet. The water is not cold coming out. Overall, I am still getting used to it after only a week.

We're so happy that you've been enjoying the large capacity and it's quiet while running, however, we hate to hear that your refrigerator does not dispense cold water.
French door refrigerators have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that cools 16 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. For more information on this, please refer to the article in the link below:

First one was good, this one not sure

We bought one of these two years ago and loved it. We just moved and needed to replace what what was there, so we got the same model. This one: 1) freezer drawer doesn't always close completely, leaving a 1/4"opening; 2) freezer drawer sounds and feels like something is going to pop occasionally when opening; 3) I think it's the ice maker that has a very loud water valve. A GE tech came and found nothing. We shall see, but so far not impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
