I've only had this refrigerator for a few weeks, but I LOVE IT! Replaced an 8 year old Samsung that needed major service three times. Chose the GE because it is rated the most reliable. We've had stainless steel for too many years. The slate finish on this refrigerator is WONDERFUL. It blends beautifully with the remaining stainless steel appliances we still have. I also love the inside water dispenser, the deep door shelves and fabulous lighting inside.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Well designed this refrigerator really allows me to see all that is on the shelves and freezer. Lots of shelves for condiments and drawers pull out so smooth.

Efficient use of space

We downsized to counter depth from 27 cubic to 22 and are not regretting it. It runs quietly and while we have to adjust to less space we can reach everything and are not struggling All that remains to be seen is its performance over time but we have small GE frig/freezer combo in our basement purchased 2006 and it works like the energizer bunny

Love it ... So far!

First time going with a counter-depth model. Our other fridge lasted 23 years. Hope this one lasts at least half of that (since I know that things are made like they used to be). So far, we love the counter depth. It has the same amount of room that my old fridge had. The bottom drawer (freezer) is a little hard to pull out, and I have to press my upper body against the top of the fridge and pull the bottom part. It fits perfectly, works great, so we love it!
