Spacious refrigerator area!

This GE counter depth refrigerator has plenty of room in the refrigerator area with options to adjust shelving as needed. It is brightly lit with clear drawers and shelving to see items quickly. Very quiet operation of the refrigeration components. The freezer compartment is reduced in size and care must be taken to plan ahead for storing freezer items. All in all the sleek design and counter depth feature make this refrigerator a great asset to a small kitchen.

Short life span- 6 years

I’m thankful I was able to get a new refrigerator in a short amount of time; there are limited options due to supply issues. However, I’m disappointed that this unit is replacing another GE Profile that lasted only 6 years. I’ve always heard good things about GE, when my 6 year old refrigerator “died” I question the quality of the product. Hoping this one is more durable.

Just getting used to the freezer on the bottom.the only thing is I would say our side by side was able to fit more things in the freezer now we have to store some items in our deep freeze in the garage. All taller items like milk jugs, juices, ketchups and taller condiments only fit in the doors, which is a change from our side by side. Looks sharp, but would probably go with a side by side for our next fridge only because I feel like it has more room.

Love this fridge!!

The exterior finish is magical. It was scratched by our floor finishers and unless you walk right up to it and know where to look, you would never see it. Because it is a bit shallower, being counter depth, and the lighting is amazing, everything is that much more visible and accesible. The 'open door' alert has come in handy a couple of times, the ice maker works perfectly, the freezer is so roomy and the flexibiltiy of shelf arrangement makes it easy to store pretty much anything we want to put in there.

A good refrigerator and freezer. Ice maker works well and it's easy to get ice. The doors are a little stiff to close, but overall we like this refrigerator.
