Packaging Film Issue, Fingerprint Resistant?

Packaging film requires much more work than it should to remove completely. The protective film is apparently left on the stainless steel during the entire forming process and assembly. It runs underneath all of the gaskets and seals, so when peeling it off it doesn't come away cleanly from the edges. You're left with ragged unsightly plastic sticking out everywhere. I had to use a clean razor and carefully score it around all edges and under gaskets to remove it all.
Freezer door is a little hard to open.
Unit is a little noisy. I'm not used to hearing my refrigerator running.
Fingerprint resistant finish is disappointing- we are cleaning it all of the time.

Hello - Congratulations on your new refrigerator purchase! We are sorry to hear of the packaging film issue and apologize for any inconvenience it has caused.
If the freezer door is hard to open, rub paraffin wax on the hinge side of the door. Paraffin wax is used for canning purposes and can be purchased at most grocery stores. Petroleum jelly can also be used.
The newer model refrigerators do have a higher sound level than models of the past. This is due in large part to the efficient high speed compressor that will run 80-90% of the time. The advantage to this design is it allows for more consistent temperatures in both the freezer and fresh food sections and it actually saves energy since the compressor uses more energy when it starts up vs when it's running. This new refrigerator will definitely seem louder due to these longer run times. We are sorry the fingerprint finish is disappointing. Thank you so much for your feedback! We will be sure to pass this on to the appropriate team for future design and development.

Really nice fridge

I have three of the slate grey appliances and I love the color and way they look. So beautiful. So far the fridge has been great but I’ve only had it a few weeks.

Nice refrigerator. Small inside for the price paid. Wish the doors would close when you push on them instead of having to push them closed.

Lots of space!

I’m so pleased with my new refrigerator. It is about 2 cubic feet larger than my last one but feels much roomier than that. There is lots of space in the doors. The vegetable and fruit bins are huge and the meat and cheese drawer is extra large too. Love the interior lighting! The freezer on the bottom is new to me but I’m liking it. I love the pull out ice bin. This is a really beautiful refrigerator that makes my kitchen look updated!

Love everything about this unit!! Like that the icemaker bin is in the freezer, only wish the water dispenser was accessible without going inside the Fridge to get water.

Love this fridge. It has so many great features like the drawer below the crisper drawer that would hold meat, veggies etc. Thq temp can be set differently than the rest of the fridge. The shelves can also be set to individual heights.
