Not Great

Water button is very hard to push. Fan is loud and needs to be replaced; service tech returning. This will be the 4th time we've had to be at home for this fridge in less than 1 month. Ice maker installed incorrectly required a repair. Etc...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

High Capacity Counter Depth

We were looking for a maximum amount of storage in a counter depth fridge. This model accomplishes that by eliminating the in-door ice maker and water dispenser. The inside lighting is very good. Also, it is virtually noiseless when running.

Big storage.

Lots of storage for us. Doors hold a lot. The left door mechanism works great for now however I can see that wearing out. Also the freezer doors get off track easily. Sort of pricey for that level of performance. Really like the door open alarm!

Love this refrigerator!

Had this refrigerator in another house so when I moved I purchased it again. The only thing I don't care for is that the water dispenser button is difficult to press. It needs a lot of pressure to hold down. Otherwise, no complaints at all. It's been in my new house two months now and I haven't had any problems!!

Perfect for Our Kitchen

We bought this frig a few months ago and just love it. It had to be more narrow to fit but we just don't see any compromise in the available space at all. We love the spacious draws for fruits, vegs, deli items. The pull out freezer is spacious. It's taller than our previous frig but still reachable for the on-top items.

Best refrigerator we have ever owned

We bought this refrigerator as a replacement for a similar refrigerator (different brand) that we had owned for barely six years. That six year old Amana refrigerator started having problems within several years of ownership and had to be rebuilt within the past year. My wife and I have been replacing other appliances in the house with General Electric products. We are now totally committed to GE.

My wife and I want to LIVE in this refrigerator!

In our previous house we inherited a high end refrigerator made by a supposedly top of the line manufacturer, and we HATED it. The layout was awful, lighting poor and although it was large we simply couldn't fit much into it. We moved into a house with a smaller, bare bones fridge which was actually better than the much fancier one in our old home but was very dated. We shopped around and ended up buying 5 GE appliances, including this one.
My wife wanted counter depth and while I could see her logic I was afraid we'd lose storage space. I'm happy to say I was wrong. We have more space than in either of our previous refrigerators and it's much better laid out, making storing and finding things easy, aided by the excellent LED lighting. We were happy to find a counter depth refrigerator that didn't have all that fancy ice making and dispensing stuff on the door, spoiling the clean look and taking up valuable storage space. I'm sure the novelty will wear off, but I'm not joking when I say that once in a while as I walk by the 'fridge, I open it up just to look and admire it,
